The Knights of Heroes camp sits in the thickly wooded mountains near Victor, Colorado. It is often necessary to mitigate fire hazards around the camp by removing both pine and aspen trees. Our team pitched in by cutting, splitting, and chipping up a series of flagged trees. We helped load up several trailers with the split firewood to deliver to La Puente, a homeless shelter nestled near Alamosa. It was a great workday and a fun chance to exercise our ‘giving muscles’ and help two fantastic organizations in the process.
