Who said we aren’t in the business of saving lives? Today our team is doing our best to save lives by donating blood at UCHealth’s Garth Englund Blood Donation Center in Fort Collins. Platelets are continuously in high demand in northern Colorado and what comes though the center stays in our area to treat patients. Our community needs more donors to be able to keep up with the demand at the hospitals around us. “One whole blood donation (one pint) can treat, heal, and very well save the life of up to three different patients,” says Kaitlin Zobel, blood donor recruiter for the Garth Englund Blood Donation Center in Fort Collins.
