Restorations and Additions

Giving new life to old architecture is a special pleasure for the Elder Construction team. Time has its effect on even the most well-constructed buildings. We support owners who appreciate the strength and beauty of an older building, respecting them enough to invest in their renovation and rebirth.

Case Study
The Hibbard family is a long-standing name in Colorado Springs. In 1914, the family built a five-story structure in downtown Colorado Springs to house their department store. Eighty-five years later, Ralph Hibbard decided the building was ready for a rebirth. Elder Construction helped to gut and re-fit the interior for retail and office space while preserving and renovating the building’s historic exterior.
